Our Story

Welcome to Craft & Revive, a local business specializing in cabinet refinishing, furniture restoration, door refinishing, and interior painting in Dayton, Ohio.

In 2017, I moved to the U.S. from Romania without a clear idea of what my professional future would look like. I worked as a bartender for a couple of years, but after the COVID lockdowns, I found myself out of work. That’s when a good friend told me about a local furniture store that was hiring. At first, it was just a job—I never expected to discover a passion for painting and refinishing.

I started by learning the basics: sanding and staining new furniture. Over time, that interest turned into something more. I began taking on small side jobs, honing my craft, and seeing the work as a form of art. I knew then that I wanted to turn these skills into a full-time career.

In 2022, I left that job to work for a local painting company where I refined my expertise in cabinet painting, door refinishing, and both interior and exterior residential painting. I also picked up valuable business and customer service skills, which helped push me toward launching my own business.

Craft & Revive is the result of years of hands-on experience, learning, and dedication. Today, I specialize in kitchen cabinet refinishing, furniture restoration, front door refinishing, and interior painting services—all delivered with care, precision, and premium quality materials. My goal is to help homeowners across Dayton bring their vision to life with stunning transformations at a fair price.
